Welcome to MySQL How To

Welcome to the newly revamped MySQL How 2 site. This will express ideas and techniques I use everyday as a MySQL database administrator. There will be tips to maintenance, performance tuning and over all database administration. I will have a do's and dont's section from experiences, and I will post scripts that can be used. The environment that will be referenced is one of the largest. The ideas expressed on this site will be examples of administrations tasks that I use. I will also answer questions , so feel free to send them to me on the Contact form.

I will have rants of bugs I find and mistakes I make, there will be a section that will talk about my day to day life at the office and home. This could be for good reading, as it is hectic. I will try to give you enjoyable reading and not lose the attention and bore you. Please leave comments, as it will help me write know what the readers are looking for. I would like this be a go to place that other MySQL DBA's can use.

Creating this site is a side project also for me, as I will use it for issues I have seen and I'm sure I will see some again. Some of the reading will be just notes, check back often as I will update them with out comes and more information. Enjoy reading and thank you.
